“The meals are very convenient, good quality, & very delicious. I find that they have a great taste and are very filling. There isn’t anywhere that I could get an excellent meal such as this with the $15 in food stamps that I receive monthly. I am truly thankful for this program!”

“The food is cooked perfectly, seasoned well, & extremely filling. Love the packaging which allows me the convenience of microwaving vs turning on the stove. I feel like I’m dining out in my home. I could never afford this quality of food. This has made a difference in my life!”

Jacob and Anita are married and live at East Bank Village Apartments. They are blessed to have the help of the Cultivate food program because of living on a limited income. Jacob says with their food stamps getting cut down from $170 to $66 a month they struggle to get food for the both of them. Anita suffers from diabetes, some of her meds are not covered by her MHS so Jacob pays out of pocket for them. Jacob makes sure Anita has nutritious food for all 3 meals and a lot of times that is hard to do with little money. The food given by the cultivate program has ensured they both have a nutritious warm meal. Jacob fears the winter months coming because his means of transportation are his bicycle, he’s hopeful the Cultivate food will help supplement them. He says he can’t say thank you enough for the help and ease the program has given them.
