Because of your gifts, this year has been an explosive success, especially in our new backpack program which is currently serving 400 food-insecure children in nearby counties. We are so grateful for our supporters, board members, and volunteers who have helped make it possible to feed so many hungry people this year – we couldn’t do this without you!
As 2019 begins to come to a close, you may be thinking about your goals for philanthropy this year. There are still a lot of opportunities for you to be involved with Cultivate before the end of the year!
Large equipment and furnishings are still needed in the new building on Prairie Avenue – check out how construction is coming along by visiting our Facebook page. Just look for the live “building update” weekly videos.
There are also still 150 backpacks that need to be sponsored for the 400 children we are feeding each weekend. It is $35/month or $420/year to sponsor a backpack that will provide six nutritious frozen meals for a food-insecure child each weekend during the school year.
For those of you 70.5 years of age or older, please consider rolling a portion of your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) from your IRA over to Cultivate. Our tax ID number is: 81-3306113. Another great way to give is by donating appreciated stock.
